I have been a builder since 1983. Over 43 years I have put up new homes from the ground up and remodeled hundreds of kitchens, bathrooms, and basements across Cobb and Cherokee County.

How a project works
No mystery and no surprises — here is exactly what happens between your first call and the final walkthrough.
Step 01
Talk it through
Call or send a message describing the project. We discuss scope, timing, and a rough budget range before anyone drives out.
Step 02
On-site walkthrough
We visit, measure, look at existing conditions, and talk through options — including what we would do differently, and why.
Step 03
Clear proposal
A written scope and price covering materials, labor, and schedule. Nothing starts until you have read it and agreed to it.
Step 04
Build and finish
We handle permits, trades, and inspections, keep the site clean, and walk the finished work with you before we call it done.

Home base. We have built and remodeled across Kennesaw for four decades — from the older neighborhoods off Main Street to the newer subdivisions north of Barrett Parkway.
AcworthGA
Lakeside and in town. A lot of our Acworth work is opening up closed-off floor plans in eighties and nineties houses, and finishing basements that came unfinished from the builder.
MariettaGA
Older housing stock means real remodeling — plaster, knob-and-tube, additions that were never permitted. We have seen it and we price it honestly before we start.
WoodstockGA
Growing fast, and a good part of our new construction work. We handle Cherokee County permitting and inspections as part of the job.

Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. J. N. Residential, Inc. is licensed and insured for residential building and remodeling in Georgia, and we are happy to provide documentation before work begins.
How long have you been building?
Jeff has been a builder since 1983 — more than 43 years of hands-on residential construction and remodeling.
Do you provide free estimates?
Yes. We visit the house, look at the space, talk through what you want to accomplish, and provide a written proposal at no cost and no obligation.
Do you handle permits and inspections?
We do. For work that requires permitting — structural changes, additions, basement finishing, new construction — we handle the applications, the scheduling, and the inspections as part of the job.
Can you work within my budget?
That is the conversation we start with. We plan the scope and the material selections around a number you are comfortable with, and we tell you up front if what you want and what you want to spend do not line up.
