J. N. Residential, Inc. has been building and remodeling homes across Cobb and Cherokee County since 1983.
I have been a builder since 1983. In 43 years I have put up new homes from bare lots and remodeled hundreds of kitchens, bathrooms, and basements — nearly all of it within half an hour of Kennesaw.
That is deliberate. Working close to home means the people I build for are the people I run into at the hardware store, and it means the crews I use have been with me long enough that I do not have to check their work twice. Almost everything we do now comes by referral, which is the only advertising a builder should need.
When you hire J. N. Residential you work directly with the builder. I price the job, I schedule the trades, I answer the phone when you call, and I walk the finished work with you at the end. There is no project manager in between, and no crew showing up at your house that I have not worked with before.
We are licensed and insured for residential building and remodeling in Georgia, and we are happy to hand over the documentation before anything starts. We pull permits, we book inspections, and we do not finish over work that should have been permitted.

How a project works
From first call to final walkthrough
Talk it through
Call or send a message describing the project. We discuss scope, timing, and a rough budget range before anyone drives out.
On-site walkthrough
We visit, measure, look at existing conditions, and talk through options — including what we would do differently, and why.
Clear proposal
A written scope and price covering materials, labor, and schedule. Nothing starts until you have read it and agreed to it.
Build and finish
We handle permits, trades, and inspections, keep the site clean, and walk the finished work with you before we call it done.
