Bathroom Renovation

Bathrooms are small rooms where the details are unforgiving. The difference between a bathroom that lasts and one that fails is almost always what happened behind the tile.

We build showers properly. Sloped and packed pans, bonded waterproofing membranes over the substrate, corners and penetrations sealed, and a flood test before a single tile goes on. It is the least visible part of the job and the part that decides whether you are calling somebody back in five years.

Beyond the waterproofing: layout changes, moving plumbing, curbless entries, niches set where you will actually reach them, proper ventilation, and tile laid out so the cuts land where they should. Vanities, glass, fixtures, and lighting to finish.

We also do straightforward work — a tub-to-shower conversion, a vanity and floor refresh, grab bars and a comfort-height toilet for ageing in place. Not every bathroom needs to be taken to the studs, and we will say so.

Questions we get asked

Can you convert a tub to a walk-in shower?
Yes, and it is one of the most common jobs we do. Drain location and floor framing decide how involved it gets — we check both before quoting.
How do I know the waterproofing was done right?
You watch it. We flood test the pan and we are happy to have you look at the membrane before it is covered.
