Flooring Installation
Flooring shows every shortcut taken underneath it. We spend the time on the subfloor, the moisture, and the layout, because that is what decides whether a floor still looks right in ten years.
Most flooring complaints are not really about the flooring. They are about a subfloor that was never flattened, a slab that was never tested for moisture, or a transition nobody planned. We check all three before we quote, and we tell you honestly if the preparation is going to cost more than you were expecting.
We install solid and engineered hardwood, tile, and luxury vinyl plank. That means taking up what is there, dealing with whatever is underneath it, leveling, and setting the layout so the boards run the direction the house wants and the cuts land somewhere sensible rather than in the middle of a doorway.
Stairs, transitions, thresholds, and shoe molding are part of the job, not a line item we add later. So is putting the room back together when we are done.

Can you match the flooring in an older house?
Often closely, rarely exactly — species, cut, and forty years of light all change a floor. We will bring samples and show you honestly how near we can get before you commit.
Do we have to move out?
Usually not. We work room by room where we can, and we tell you up front which days the space genuinely cannot be used.
